Frosty Challenge – Fast and Frugal
“The Frosty Challenge – Fast and Frugal” campaign has ended. The Frosty Challenge was an eight-week weight maintenance campaign designed to help participants eat healthier and be active over the winter months. The goal of the challenge was for participants to stay within 2 pounds of their “baseline” winter weight. 37 people registered for the challenge and 28 people reported their weekly weight gain or loss. Participants received weekly emails and newsletters on the following topics:

MSA participants far exceeded the goal to maintain their weight - as a group they lost 83.6 pounds!!! Congratulations Frosty Challenge Participants! We plan to offer the challenge again next year and hope for even more participation!!!
Work-out Room
The MSA work-out room is located downstairs in Tate Hall near the health clinic. The work-out room was made possible by a SHIP grant from our participation in Healthy Rice County (see Past Committee Projects) This room is open to all MSA staff and students.
