Description
This is a ten month per year position; the work schedule follows the school calendar. This position is being posted for internal bidders and for outside applicants simultaneously; this job is first open to employees of this agency who are in the Special Teacher classification and are eligible to bid. Other qualified applicants will be considered if there are no eligible bidders.

Provide ASL instruction to students and/or staff in the classroom (or work as a teacher on special assignment) so that students may progress satisfactorily; prepare long and short term goals and objectives for individual students through the IEP process; participate in student staffings, behavior program planning and parent conferences.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of a valid Minnesota Teacher's License with deaf/hard of hearing certification or eligibility to obtain within six months.
Advanced Sign Language Skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and background teaching deaf/hard of hearing youth.

Additional Requirements:
This position requires successful completion of the following: Successful completion of a criminal background check.

$21.67-$41.15/hour
