Job Summary:

This is a ten month per year position; the work schedule follows the school calendar. This position is being posted for internal bidders and for outside applicants at the same time.

Provide English/Language Arts instruction to students and/or staff in the classroom (or work as a teacher on special assignment) so that students may progress satisfactorily; prepare long and short term goals and objectives for individual students through the IEP process; participate in student staffings, behavior program planning and parent conferences.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of a valid Minnesota Teacher's License with deaf/hard of hearing certification or eligibility to obtain within six months.
Advanced Sign Language Skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and background teaching deaf/hard of hearing youth.
Certification in English/Language Arts

Additional Requirements
This position requires successful completion of the following:
Successful completion of a criminal background check.

Salary Range: $22.21- $42.18/hourly; $37,312 - $70,862/annually
