Fiscal Department

The Fiscal Services Department for the Minnesota State Academies is responsible for the administration and management of all operating budgets for the Academies and to ensure that spending is compliant with the State of Minnesota’s Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.  There are many different facets to the Fiscal Services Department and they are as follows:

Purchasing/Contract Administration Department:  This department is responsible for the purchasing of all goods and supplies for the Academies.  The purchasing department is also responsible for the administration of all contracts between the Academies and outside entities. 

Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Department:   This department is responsible to ensure that all invoices for the Academies are paid within the guidelines established in statute.  This department also manages the accounts receivables for the academies.

Student Accounts:  This department operates the internal student banking on behalf of the Academies.
