This announcement may be used to fill up to 2 intermittent Cook vacancies in the Cook classification at the Minnesota State Academies.

To use quantity food preparation skills and safe food handling techniques to prepare and serve high quality nutritious food at the Minnesota State Academies in Faribault, Minnesota.
Benefits
This is a intermittent position and does not include benefit package.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge/background of quantity food preparation and of equipment needed to prepare quantity food amounts; ability to use standardized recipes; knowledge of methods and procedures needed to carry out responsibilities of this position (time management, safe food practices, portioning, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL)

Physical Requirements

With the assistance of other staff members or handcarts, may periodically be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
