Support Services

The Minnesota State Academies provide a variety of support and related services. Our services include the related services each student requires to receive a free and appropriate public education. Specific related services are determined through the IEP process.  As part of the IEP team, our related services staff complete assessments and prepare specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of our students.

At MSA, we have the following services available:

  • American Sign Language Services
  • Audiological Services
  • Career Education Counseling
  • Cochlear Implant Services
  • Counseling Services
  • Interpreter Services
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Orientation and Mobility
  • Outreach Evaluations
  • Physical Therapy
  • Psychological Services
  • School Social Work Services
  • Speech and Language Services
  • Transition Evaluations
  • Volunteers of America
  • Nursing Services

To receive any of the services outlined on this web page, the student’s IEP manager should be contacted.  Parents may request a team meeting to discuss services for their child at any time during the school year. We are committed to ensuring that all our students receive a free and appropriate public education in their least restrictive environment.
