World's Best Workforce Report

In 2013, Minnesota state legislature passed the World’s Best Workforce (WBWF) legislation (Minnesota Statute, section 120B.11). It requires school districts to identify clearly defined goals and benchmarks for all student groups, along with a process for evaluating students’ progress. Led by the directors of each campus and our school accountability committee, recommendations 1 will be made to the school board to assist the decision making progress. The WBWF has five components:
  • All students ready for Kindergarten.
  • All students in third grade achieving grade-level literacy.
  • Close the achievement gaps among all groups.
  • All students career and college ready by graduation.
  • All students graduate.
